A poster I made for Hic et Nunc Art Collective’s latest short film "Eyes on me". The story is about children who create a world free from adults with a secret superpower: they can turn their parents into toys using just their gaze.
I illustrated this idea by showing a child using his hands to create a pair of make believe glasses, an act of imagination and rebellion that makes fun of us looking at the poster.
From his eye, a thunderbolt breaks the frame of the poster: a visual metaphor for the power of the kids' sights, capable of shattering the rigid structures of adulthood. Rules bend, and fun takes over.
